Bike Grabs

Bike Grabs are a chance to pick up a pre-loved bike for a koha (donation) and learn some basic bike care while you're at it. In partnership with Southern Youth Development, we've been reclaiming bikes from landfill, skips, colleges, and campus for the past four years—giving them a second life with the help of Connan from SYD.

Whether you're after a new (to you) ride or just need a repair, Connan’s here to help you fix it up and learn as you go. Tools are available all week at Te Oraka, and every bike comes with a bit of character and a whole lot of potential.
